How to Add a Co-Parent or Guardian

Connect a spouse, grandparent, nanny, or co-parent to your KidoPal family circle in five quick steps.

Step 01

Go to the Settings tab in Parent App

Open the KidoPal app on your primary parent device. In the bottom navigation bar, tap on the Settings tab icon.

Parent Device: Launch your main KidoPal application.

Select the "Family Members" item

Inside the Settings menu, locate and tap on Family Members to manage parents, guardians, and children profiles.

Family List: Tap Family Members in the list of settings options.

Overview: View your existing family circle, co-parent profiles, and guardian permissions.

Step 2: Select Family Members in Settings

Tap on the "Invite Adults" button

Under the Adults section in Family Members, tap the Invite Adults button to initiate an adult invitation.

Adults Section: Locate the Adults header on the Family Members screen.

Invite Button: Tap Invite Adults to generate a co-parent invitation.

Get the pairing code

KidoPal generates a secure 6-digit pairing code on your screen. Share this code with your co-parent, spouse, or guardian.

Pairing Code: A clear 6-digit invite code is displayed on your screen.

Ready to Share: Keep this code handy for the other adult to enter on their device.

Step 05

Enter the code in KidoPal on adult's device

Open the KidoPal app on the other adult's device, select Join Family, enter the pairing code from Step 4, and connect.

Adult Device: Launch KidoPal on the co-parent or guardian's iPhone or iPad.

Instant Sync: Enter the code to join. All routine schedules, remote locks, and screen allowances sync across all adult devices in seconds.
